The companies will be exempted from the “participation fee” of the PromPerú’s Services Charter until December 31, 2020, in order to mitigate the negative impact foreseen by the coronavirus (Covid-19) on exports and tourism.
This is stated in General Management Resolution Nº 055-2020-PROMPERÚ/GG, published yesterday in the official newspaper El Peruano, which approves that Peruvian companies have free access to the promotional activities carried out by PromPerú at national and international level, in order to help the economic reactivation.
The rule establishes that, from now until the end of the year, companies will be exempted from the requirement of “payment of the participation fee” to access the services included in the Charter of Services of Promperu, Section Directorate of Tourism Promotion and Section Directorate of Export Promotion.
It is indicated that such services corresponding to the Charter of Services of PromPerú are
a) Service No. 1: Participation in International Tourism Fairs.
b) Service No. 2: Participation in International Tourism Workshops
c) Service No. 5: Tourist Commercial Competitiveness Route
d) Service Nº 1: Participation in International Export Fairs.
