Arrival at the Lima airport, assistance from one of our representatives at the airport. Then transfer to the hotel, located in the residential district of Miraflores.

In the afternoon we will visit Lima in its 3 historical periods; Pre Hispanic, Colonial and Modern. We will have a panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana”, we will visit the imposing Historical Center of Lima, its palaces, houses, churches and plazas ending with a visit to the residential and financial area of San Isidro. Finally we will have an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean in the district of Miraflores.
Return to the hotel.

LIMA – JAEN – CHACHAPOYAS
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport to board the flight to the city of Jaén. Upon arrival, the transfer driver will take you to the town of Chachapoyas, on a trip of approximately 4 hours. On the way, we will pass through a characteristic landscape of the jungle brow before entering the warm valley of the Marañón. Then, we will follow the deep canyon of the Utcubamba river to climb the Andes before reaching the cloud forest characteristic of the Chachapoyas region.
Night in Chachapoyas.

In the morning, we will leave in the direction of the fortress of Kuélap, famous Chachapoya archaeological site with walls of 600 m long and 20 m high. A unique atmosphere reigns in the little streets of this citadel still enveloped by tropical vegetation. There is a return walk to the tourist parador, where the platform of the cable car embarks.
Lunch at Nuevo Tingo.
Return to the city of Chachapoyas.

The tour starts at approximately 8:00 am. The Gocta Waterfall with 771 meters, is the third highest in the world. There are different routes to get there, the most popular part of Cocachimba to access its base. In the 5.5 km of the trail you cross cane crops, with their traditional sugar mills and then enter a cloud forest, with trees covered with orchids, lichens and mosses.
We will take the time to admire the impressive spectacle that this waterfall gives before going to Chachapoyas.

Pick up and transfer in private mobility to the city of Chiclayo. It passes through the towns of Cocachimba, Pedro Ruiz, Bagua Grande, Motupe, Lambayeque and finally arrival in Chiclayo. (9 hours of travelling approx.)

Very early, excursion to the magnificent adobe platform of Huaca Rajada, where the world-famous Lord of Sipan was discovered.
Admire fabulous items of gold, precious stones and the ancient history of the Moche civilization.
Afterwards, visit Túcume, an imposing complex of 26 pyramids of the Lambayeque culture and finally, visit the brand-new Royal Tombs Museum and discover the historical richness of the place.

Transfer to the terminal to the city of Trujillo.
In the way, visit to the El Brujo pyramid; which rises about 98 feet above the desert and covers an approximate area of 330 by 330 feet. It was built by thousands of adobe bricks. Its walls are covered with beautiful reliefs and polychrome wall paintings which represent war motifs, deities, animals, plants and fishing nets.
A few years ago, a well-preserved tattooed mummy corresponding to a young woman of the Moche royalty, called the Lady of Cao, which is exhibited in the Museum of the Lady of Cao, has been discovered inside the pyramid.
Arrival to the city of Trujillo and transfer to the hotel.

The tour will begin with a visit to the impressive Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the center of power in the Trujillo Valley during the Moche times. Observe the amazing group of adobe frescoes on one of the walls of the Temple of the Moon, unearthed by archaeologists. Then visit the Dragon Temple (Arco Iris), of the Chimú culture. Continue to Huanchaco, an ancient fishermen’s cove where you will appreciate the old boats called “Caballitos de Totora” with which the ancient tradition of artisanal fishing is maintained. Lunch included.
Finally visit the old citadel of Chan Chan, whose extension is 18 km² approx. You will enter the Nik-An Palace, located in the southwestern part of Chan Chan, visiting its ceremonial plazas, shrines, reservoirs, granaries, cemeteries, etc.
Return to the hotel in Trujillo.

In the morning, transfer to the airport to board the flight to the Imperial city of Cusco. Arrival to the city of Cusco, reception and transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon, pick up to start the tour to the imperial city, where we will visit the Cathedral, the Coricancha and the nearby ruins: Qenqo (Ceremonial and Ritual Center, place where the sacrifices were made), Puca Pucara used by Emperor Pachacutec as tambo),
Tambomachay (also called “The Bath of the Inca”) and Fortress of Sacsayhuaman.

In the morning departure for our visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit the textile center Awanacancha, then we will go to the town of Pisac, here we will visit a picturesque craft market where we can see how until today the locals maintain the tradition of exchanging their things or food, as it was done in the past.
Buffet lunch in local restaurant.
Later we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo where we will visit the fortress that bears the same name. Here we will visit the most important sectors of the place, and our guide will give us an explanation about its history.
Returning to Cusco, we will visit the town of Chinchero and its small chapel.

This day will be the highlight of our trip, the visit to the citadel of Machu Picchu.
Very early we will depart from the train station of Ollanta towards the majestic city of Aguas Calientes, the travel time is approximately 1.5 hours. En route we will appreciate a diversity of natural landscapes according to the existing altitudinal floors, we will arrive at the Aguas Calientes town station, from here we will board the buses to ascend to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the world. We will begin the visit observing the great landscape that surrounds it.
The tour will be 2.5 hours, at the end of it will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes to make purchases.
At the scheduled time, transfer to the station to board the return train to Ollantaytambo.
